Summer 2004 Tour Update - Home Stretch!

Hey there ya bunch of drunks. Pete and Wayne here from the road. Just a little update on our travels. Maine: hmm, that place never ceases to amaze us. We were told that the whole drinking onstage thing was going to not be enforced this year, only to find out that, yup the dick was back and gunning for us. We ended having to step off the stage, put our guitars down, and be on a legitimate break in order to drink.

The exception to the rule of course was at the Dock Fore in Old Port Portland. That was kind of a private party thrown annually by our friend Bob Cott. (Kind of because everybody crashed it.)  Alagash beer was our Maine sponsor so they put a draft system right up on stage for us. The bartender there has the nicest breasts ever created by God!

Thanks to all the people who made it to the shows. The private parties were a blast. Sandy and Brian Payne from New Hampshire threw a party that rivaled the Anderson's party in North Hampton, Mass. Then we did the Rosa Linda's restaurant party in Saco, Maine. Larry and Linda for some reason insist that we be their summer employee party entertainment.

Jimmy the Greek and lovely wife Terri treated us to a limo for the day and a Red Sox game. Ten people in a limo, six cases of beer, two bottles of Cold Duck, and a bottle of Ouzo. That's the way to go to a baseball game! Kiss da baay-bee.

A quick stop in Philly so we could check out some bands for Sloppy's. We enjoyed a guided tour of the city with our friend Mike the Philly cop and then went to hear a showcase from Anderson entertainment. Saw some really great bands and ran into one of our favorite Sloppy Joe's bands, The Benderz.

Doing our final Cinci show tonight. Great shows and great audiences here. Only one lady got pissed off so far. Going up to the PIB next weekend, Tampa the following weekend then back home to our cats and dogs and best of all Sloppy Joe's. Thanks for making this tour the best of all.

The show at Cock Fore in Pohtland was great. Many thanks to Bob Cott for sponsoring the P&W Experience. We drank all of the Corona at Chopmist & Dock Fore. It was nice to see Jimmy the Greek & Terry from Da Pier.
